今日は神子元でのダイビングが、本当に言葉通り“カオスが極まる”一日になりました！
エントリーポイントのひとつ、Aポイントでは、ハンマーヘッドシャークたちがこれでもかというほど密集していて、あたり一面サメ、サメ、サメ！
さらに驚いたのが、メジロザメ！ハンマーの群れに加わって優雅に泳ぐメジロたちの姿は、凄い光景でした！カメ根周辺は、完全に“サメフェスティバル”状態で、興奮が止まりませんでした。
そして、黒潮の影響がじわじわと現れてきていて、海の透明度もアップ傾向。このまま潮が入り込んでくれば、さらに期待が高まります！これからの神子元、見逃せません。
……とはいえ、明日以降の一番の課題は「風」。海中は絶好調でも、風が強いと出航やエントリーに制限がかかってしまうので、、、
風が吹かない事を祈るばかりです…
それでも、サメたちが魅せてくれた圧倒的なパフォーマンスに大満足の一日でした。
Today’s diving at Mikomoto was truly a day of “chaos at its peak”!
At one of the entry points, A Point, hammerhead sharks were so densely packed that it was hard to believe, with sharks everywhere you looked!
What surprised me even more was the silver tip sharks! The sight of the silver tips swimming gracefully among the hammerheads was incredible! The area around the turtle reef was completely a “shark festival,” and the excitement was unstoppable.
And with the influence of the Kuroshio Current slowly making itself felt, the water clarity is improving. If the tide continues to come in, things are looking even better! Don’t miss Mikomoto from now on.
…That said, the biggest challenge for tomorrow and beyond is the wind. Even if the sea conditions are perfect, strong winds can restrict sailing and entry, so…
All we can do is hope the wind stays calm…
Despite that, it was a day filled with satisfaction thanks to the sharks’ breathtaking performance.
