本日の神子元は、一瞬晴れ間も見えましたが、基本的には雨の1日。
湿度も高く、ムシムシとした陽気となりました。
海の中は曇り空の影響もあって少し暗く感じましたが、青い海は継続中！
水温も25℃前後をキープし、海上は凪。
ダイビングするには海況良好な1日でした👌
昨日までのハンマー爆発を考えると、
「今日も期待できるか！？」と思いましたが……
今日はちょっと苦戦。
潮汐は中潮でしたが、思ったほど潮が動かず、
ジゴミになる時間帯も多い1日となりました。
午前中は、緩い上げ潮から緩い下げ潮へ。
水中の雰囲気は抜群で、
「これは出そう！」という空気はありましたが、
何チームかが小群れを確認できた程度。
午後になっても大きく潮が動くことはなく、
なかなか厳しい戦いとなりました。
それでも、海の青さも水温も悪くない。
ハンマーが出そうな雰囲気はしっかりあります。
あとは……
潮が動いてくれれば！！🦈🔥
潮ひとつで一気に状況が変わるのが神子元。
昨日までの爆発もあるだけに、
次のタイミングに期待したいところです。
台風の動向も気になりますが、
台風前となる明日も出航予定です！

We had a brief glimpse of sunshine today, but overall it was a rainy and very humid day at Mikomoto.
Underwater, it felt a little darker because of the cloudy skies, but the beautiful blue water continues!
Water temperature remained around 25°C, and with calm seas, overall diving conditions were excellent.
After the incredible hammerhead action we had over the past few days, we were hoping for another explosion today…
But today was a much tougher one.
Although we are currently in a mid-tide cycle, the current remained weak throughout much of the day, with frequent periods of almost no current.
In the morning, we started with a gentle incoming current, which gradually changed to a weak outgoing current.
The underwater atmosphere felt perfect for hammerheads, and everything seemed to be in place…
But only a few teams managed to encounter small groups.
In the afternoon, the current still refused to pick up, making it another challenging session.
Still, the blue water is here, the temperature is good, and the atmosphere underwater feels just right.
Now we just need…
the current to start moving! 🦈🔥
At Mikomoto, everything can change completely with the tide.
Considering the amazing hammerhead encounters we’ve had over the past few days, we know the sharks are around.
We will be heading out again tomorrow before the typhoon approaches.

Notice of Mikomoto Diving Cancellation
Thank you very much for always choosing Mikomoto Hammers.
At this time, we are planning to operate our Mikomoto Island diving trips as scheduled on Wednesday, September 16.
However, due to the effects of the currently developing typhoon and the expected deterioration of sea conditions, we have decided to cancel all Mikomoto diving on Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18.
We sincerely apologize to all guests who have reservations on these dates.
Our staff will contact the affected guests individually.
For September 17 and 18, we may be able to offer alternative dive sites, so please contact us if you are interested.
Regarding Mikomoto diving from September 19 onward, conditions may change significantly depending on the typhoon’s future track, strength, and speed.
We will continue to provide updates on our website as the situation develops, so please check for the latest information.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but as diving is highly dependent on natural conditions, this decision has been made with safety as our highest priority.
