久しぶりの秋晴れです。風も穏やかです。
澄み切った空気が神子元島を包んでいます。
水温は25℃。透明度は、8から10メートル。悪くはないです。
流れに乗ったハンマーヘッドシャークを探します。水温が安定した秋にはハンマーヘッドシャークの群れは水深が深くなります。そして、ハンマー一つ一つの個体が大きくなります。
カメ根から沖に向かって泳ぎます。
道中には、オオニベの群れとタカベのシャワーが降り注ぎます。
神子元島から一番南に有る根から東に向かったところに100匹オーバーの群れ発見。

It’s been a while since we’ve had such a clear, sunny autumn day. The wind is gentle, too.
Crystal-clear air envelops Mikomoto Island.
The water temperature is 25°C. Visibility ranges from 8 to 10 meters—not bad at all.
We’re on the lookout for hammerhead sharks riding the current. In the fall, when water temperatures stabilize, hammerhead shark schools tend to move to deeper waters. And the individual hammerheads themselves grow larger.
We swim out to sea from Kame-ne.
Along the way, we’re greeted by schools of Japanese meagre and showers of Yellowstriped Butterfish.
We spotted a school of over 100 fish east of the reef located farthest south from Mikomoto Island.
