An 18-meter northeast wind! Here at Mikomoto, the autumn monsoon is howling fiercely.

We sincerely apologize, but for safety reasons, we’ve limited today’s diving to just one dive.

Thank you so much to all our guests for your understanding.

Well, despite these challenging sea conditions, we managed to squeeze in one dive—entering from Zabu Reef!

We swam toward the south side, where the strong incoming tide was hitting.

As we moved along the top of the reef, the current was so fierce that the bubbles we exhaled bent at right angles!

We held onto the reef and waited for a chance to spot hammerhead sharks.

Then…!

A school of yellowfin tuna appeared!

That’s Mikomoto for you! It’s precisely because of seas like this that we get to experience such excitement!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, we are currently scheduled to operate. We’ll monitor sea conditions and make decisions with safety as our top priority.

Please look forward to Mikomoto once it reopens!

And as for me, Kato, I’ve wrapped up my guiding duties for this season as of today.

Thank you so much for letting me dive with so many of you this season!

Let’s meet again next season in the waters of Mikomoto!

Thank you very much!
