こんにちは。
本日は風もなく気持ちのいい気温で出航、４ダイブしてきました。
お盆シーズンに入り台風13号のウネリも見る影をなくしていましたが、今度は台風15号によるウネリが神子元にも入ってきました。
朝一干潮の時間帯は北東に流れる潮向きでウネリの方向とぶつかり合ってしまって水面がバシャバシャしているエリアもありましたが、それ以降は特に海況が悪くなることもなくダイビングできました。
場所により水温の冷たいエリアや透明度の悪いエリアがあったり、逆に暖かく青白いエリアがあったりと良くなろうとしている海が戦っているような感じです。
ハンマーも絶好調というわけではありませんでしたが各ダイビングで群れと並走できるチームもありました。
なかなか安定感に欠ける今年の神子元ではありますが、もうすぐそこまでいい海は来ているはずです。
台風の動向も気になるところですが、明日もたくさんハンマー見ましょう！

Hello.
We set out today under pleasant conditions with no wind and comfortable temperatures, and completed four dives.
Although we’ve entered the Obon season and the swell from Typhoon No. 13 had all but disappeared, swell from Typhoon No. 15 has now reached Mikomoto.
During the early morning low tide, the northeast-flowing current clashed with the swell, causing the water to splash wildly in some areas, but after that, the sea conditions didn’t deteriorate further, and we were able to dive without any issues.
Depending on the location, there were areas with cold water and poor visibility, while others were warm and pale blue—it felt as though the ocean was struggling to improve.
The hammerhead sharks weren’t in top form either, but some teams managed to swim alongside the schools during their dives.
Although conditions at Mikomoto have been rather unstable this year, the good diving conditions should be just around the corner.
We’ll keep an eye on the typhoon’s path, but let’s go see plenty of hammerheads again tomorrow!
