Hello!

It rained heavily starting at dawn today, but it cleared up before noon, making for a day of rain followed by sunshine.

The morning dive started in the rain, but a school of over 100 hammerhead sharks appeared on the south side!!

Other teams also spotted schools of 30 or more, so every team was able to see them during the morning.

Whether it’s raining in the morning or the wind is strong, as long as we can dive, the weather doesn’t matter—that’s the sea around Mikomoto.

In the afternoon, the weather cleared up and a sudden heatwave hit just as we set sail.

Although the schools weren’t quite as large as in the morning, we still got a great look at the hammerheads.

With some murkiness lingering from the typhoon and heavy rain, I’m really looking forward to seeing these hammerheads return to crystal-clear waters.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Japan holiday—let’s all enjoy ourselves safely and injury-free until the very end!

See you tomorrow~
