Yesterday Mikomoto was closed due to weather, but today we finally set sail!
The sky was cloudy, with a comfortable high of 27°C.
Water temperature ranged from 20–25°C, a bit chilly in places, but the areas with strong currents were warmer and perfect for a pleasant drift. Visibility was 5–10m, slightly clearer than before the closure.
Underwater, encounters did not disappoint!
We spotted hammerheads from singles to schools of up to 30 individuals.
On top of that, schools of amberjacks and grunt also made the dives lively and exciting.
With a typhoon on the horizon, we’ll be keeping a close eye on conditions, but tomorrow’s trip is scheduled to go ahead.
Safety first—let’s keep enjoying the amazing waters of Mikomoto!
