Hello everyone,

Hammerhead sharks suddenly started showing up again yesterday.

The conditions are finally starting to line up for a proper hammerhead season here at Mikomoto.

The hammerheads are here — definitely here. And not just a few… they’re schooling.

But today we struggled with poor visibility, making it really tough to capture them on video.

On the other hand, the deeper areas were absolutely packed with crystal-clear views of huge schools of greater amberjack and Japanese meagre.

We’re talking over 100 fish, all more than 1 meter long.

And somehow, both the amberjack and the meagre were gathering in the exact same spot.

The sight was simply unreal.

Now all we can do is pray for the visibility to improve again.

Come on Mikomoto… we know what’s waiting down there! 🦈🔥
