Hello, everyone!
I went diving at Mikomoto for the first time in a while!
The effects of the typhoon were still lingering, with swells coming in from the south, so we couldn’t dive near the island.
We entered and exited the water a little further away, on the north side of the island.
On the first dive, we saw plenty of fish like Takabe, Isaki, and Kanpachi, but no sharks.
For the second dive, we split into two groups at different entry points.
One team even spotted about 10 hammerhead sharks, but the sea conditions were a bit rough!
Here’s a photo of a blue shark during our safety stop—let’s get ready for tomorrow!
