Hello, everyone~

I went out to Mikomoto again today, full of energy~

Autumn has truly set in here in Minami-Izu, and the weather was very pleasant all day today.

As for the ocean itself, a northeasterly wind was blowing, creating some waves,

and the current was flowing with the incoming tide. Right after entering the water, I spotted

several solitary hammerhead sharks, and after riding the current for a bit, I even encountered a school of 50 hammerheads.

Visibility had dropped, so I couldn’t watch them for very long. What a shame!

A strong incoming tide this afternoon, too!

A solid school of hammerhead sharks right on the leading edge of the tide!

We finally had a strong current on the afternoon trip for the first time in a while!

Here’s hoping this trend continues starting tomorrow!
