Mikomoto Hammers

Reservation

Notes

This is a brief movie about Mikomoto Diving.

  1. The local union requires that divers must have experienced over 50 dives before diving in the Mikomoto Island. Those over 60 years old and those on medication need a doctor's certificate. 70 years old and older are not allowed to participate even if they have a certificate.
  2. Reservations require payment by credit card. Once payment is complete, a voucher will be sent to your email address. Should you not receive the voucher, your reservation may not have been secured. Please contact us if you have any queries.
The credit card statement will show the name KKDAY, not the name Mikomoto Hammers.
  3. If it has been more than one year since your last dive, we cannot accept your reservation. Please make a reservation after a refreshment dive at another dive site.
  4. Must be able to speak Japanese or English.
Please set up the equipment by yourself. If you are unable to walk on your own while carrying diving equipment on your back, please do not participate in the dive.
  5. Hammerhead sharks are natural creatures. It is not guaranteed that you will encounter hammerhead sharks. Please understand that no refunds or reductions will be made in the event that you do not encounter hammerhead sharks.
  6. If you do not meet the requirements for participation, we may refuse your reservation after you have made it.
  7. Please note that the schedule including the meeting time may be changed or the tour may be cancelled due to weather conditions or other unavoidable reasons. We will contact guests who have made reservations for the tour when the schedule is changed or the tour is cancelled, but we will not compensate for any transportation or accommodation expenses that you have arranged for yourself.
  8. No refunds will be made in the event that a dive is terminated after only one dive due to seasickness, illness, or other reasons of the guests.
  9. Due to the fixed schedule of the boat, if you are late for the meeting time, you will not be able to join the tour. In this case, no refund will be given.
  10. If you want to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. The cancellation policy is as follows:
    - 14 to 8 days in advance: 5,000 yen per person per day
    - 7 to 4 days in advance: 10,000 yen per person per day
    - Cancellation after 6:00 p.m. 3 days before to the day of the tour or without notice: 100%
There will be no cancellation charge for customers who cannot go to Mikomoto Island due to bad weather conditions.
Please note that this cancellation charge applies only to diving reservations. For package deals including accommodation or group bookings, different cancellation charges apply.
