From 4th November 2025,
the Hammers Vacation Package will finally commence!
Previously, reservations at Mikomoto Hammers were for diving only.
However, having now obtained travel agency registration (Shizuoka Prefecture: Chi-38),
we can now offer packages including accommodation at nearby hotels.
We wish for you to enjoy the waters of Mikomoto more comfortably and more deeply.
Mikomoto is a special sea where divers from around the world dream of encountering swarms of hammerhead sharks.
We want you to experience this thrill in a safe and comfortable environment—
that is the reason behind the creation of the ‘Hammerhead Shark Vacation Package’.
The Minami-Izu/Shimoda area boasts beautiful nature and numerous accommodation options,
but conversely, dining options and transport are limited.
We received many comments stating, ‘Arranging meals and transport was difficult.’
So we thought:
‘Let’s create a trip where divers can engage with the sea without stress.’
By integrating accommodation, diving, and transport,
we’ve realised this “ideal holiday”.
Hammerhead sharks are creatures of nature.
The more time and days spent diving, the greater the chance of an encounter.
The ‘Hammerhead Vacation Package’ is
a new way of travelling designed to support these precious encounters.
